Jin Jiang
Born in Luoyang, Henan Province, in 1989, JIN Jiang studied painting at a young age. He then quit high school and got involved in contemporary arts. In 2013, his first solo exhibition “In the Field of Hope” was held in Luoyang. In 2015, he was exposed to filmmaking and in the following year began to work on his first documentary. SHANG’AJIA, his feature debut, premiered in 2018. In 2020, he completed his second feature THE BROKEN RIDGE and a short documentary ONE DAY.
