XUN Yuan
Xun Yuan is a documentary director and cinematographer. He studied documentary filmmaking at the Communication University of China and the Docnomads joint master’s program in the EU. His works have been selected for the Beijing International Short Film Festival, the CinemAsia Film Festival in the Netherlands, the DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival, and the Reykjavík International Film Festival. His accolades include the Jury Award at the 2nd Hamburg Chinese Film Festival, the Best Documentary Director Award at the 20th Beijing College Student Film Festival, and the Best Student Film at the 3rd China Documentary Academy Awards. Xun Yuan seeks to blend Eastern and Western cultures into a unique cinematic language, cultivating a global perspective to tell thought-provoking stories through innovative documentary storytelling.
