Wang Yang is an independent film director, film critic, and curator. In 2007, he established the "Youth Film Manual" and is currently the executive editor. In the same year, the "Wang Yang Film Studio" was established, and the "Harvest-Film Production Team" was initiated to complete the documentary "Above Ground-Space". Completed the documentary "The Sound of Silence" in 2008. The film was shortlisted for the 6th China Documentary Film Exchange Week CDFF competition unit and participated in the 2009 First Covered Bridge Independent Image Festival.
In 2009, he completed the five-part documentary series "Graduate". In 2011, the documentary "China Gate" was completed.
