Junwu "Johnny" Tan is a Chinese - American film editor and director. He is famous for his short film ON MY WAY HOME which officially selected by Hong Kong International Youth Film Festival and Austin Arthouse Film Festival. His other short film THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER won Best Student Film at Tokyo International Short Film Festival and five other festival awards. In 2017, Junwu "Johnny" got his bachelor's degree in film production at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After that, he works as an independent editor and director for more than 5 years, directing and editing over 20 short films and commercials in both China and the United States.He is an editing fellow in American Film Institute Conservatory, pursuing his MFA degree in film production (editing).
