Guo Xizhi
Guo Xizhi was born in 1965 in Tongling, Anhui Province. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at East China Normal University in 1990. He has an MA in Literary Studies and has written articles on numerous topics for a variety of publications, including the monthly literary magazine, Dushu. Upon graduation, he worked for a television station, and is currently a professor at Shenzhen University. Many of his works, including some award-winning films, have been screened in competition at national and international film festivals. A number of his students’ films have also been screened and awarded at festivals.
