Release Year:
2017
Story:
Since 2005, Gu Tao, an independent documentary director, has traveled to the northeast border, recording the living conditions of hunters with cameras and text. He used ten years and more than 500 hours of material to cut out five parts of "Aoluguya, Aoluguya", "Hugo's Holiday", "Landahan", "Ulub Iron", and "God Phenomenon". An integrated anthropological documentary contains an unspeakable tragic and mournful. Today Gu Tao is still committed to shooting documentaries about the lives of northern ethnic minorities, including the Ewenki, Orunchun, and Mongols. His works have participated in many domestic and international film exhibitions and won many awards such as the Ogawa Shinsuke Award at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival. "Now think about it, my ten years of youth from 25 to 35 years old is like a waste of time. In fact, I can accept the waste of time, but I feel that there is always something in my heart, no matter what you do. It ’s yours, but you still do n’t know what it is that you want to do. This is the most uncomfortable at this time. Loneliness is not a bad thing, it can make you think carefully about your future. ”
