Jacky Yeap

Jacky Yeap, born in 1992, graduated with a degree in filmmaking from University Malaysia Sarawak. In 2018, he founded , a Mandarin-language publication dedicated to Malaysian cinema. In 2020, his first feature film , was nominated for the Asian New Talent Awards at the 23rd Shanghai International Film Festival. In 2021, he launched , an initiative promoting the experience of watching Malaysian films on the big screen. That same year, his next project, , received the CNC Cash Award at the Taipei Golden Horse Project Market. In 2024, he founded the in his hometown of Taiping and started , an art platform that collaborates with artists to critique social issues through humor.
