HU Zhijun

Hu Zhijun (A Qiang), born in 1977 in rural Anhui, China. In 2008, he founded the Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (China), and has since been dedicated to advancing family acceptance of sexual minorities. He has contributed columns to various media outlets and is also a blogger focusing on sexuality and gender issues. Since 2023, he has been creating and producing video content. He was a visiting scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School and Yale Law School.
